What is Ultherapy®?

Ultherapy® is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment that uses micro-focused ultrasound energy to lift and tighten the skin. It’s FDA-cleared and often used on the face, neck, under the chin, brow, and décolletage. Ultherapy® uses microfocused ultrasound to heat deep layers of the skin (up to 4.5mm deep). What to expect during treatment

Before your treatment, topical numbing cream will be applied to the area being treated for 20-30. The handpiece delivers focused ultrasound to multiple depths. You’ll feel quick bursts of heat and tingling—this is the collagen stimulation. Sensation varies: some feel only mild discomfort, others experience sharp or deep aching sensations.

What to expect after treatment

Immediately after your treatment, you may return to daily activities immediately. Your skin will feel slightly warm and tender for a few days. Some report a mild lift immediately. Noticeable tightening develops over 2–3 months, continuing up to 12-18 months.
