New Year. New You.

As we embark on another year filled with resolutions, hopes and dreams, let’s also take a moment to embrace the beauty of days gone by.  To have the good fortune of turning a page on the calendar, filled with memories of the previous year, or to be able to read this blog is truly a privilege we often take for granted. 

To age really is a privilege, and is a sure bet in this life.  So, let’s do it with some grace and dignity.  Here’s your reminder to keep up with your self-care this year, and a few simple rules to live by: 

  1. Sunscreen
    Protect yourself and your skin from harmful UV rays and environmental stimuli. Wear sunscreen every day. Don’t think about it, just do it.  It’s amazing how quickly it will become a habit. 
  2. Hydration
    Stay hydrated, inside, and out.  Nourish your skin with moisturizers that do double duty with active ingredients such as lipids or brightening agents, to simplify your routine.  And don’t forget to drink sufficient water through the day, to nurture your soul, detoxify your organs and keep you feeling satisfied.
  3. Be religious with your self-care
    Exercise, eat a healthy diet, take your vitamins and supplements. Build in time for you and be selfish about it.  Take the time to care for yourself to help you look and feel your best. Now and always.
