What is Sylfirm X?
Sylfirm X is an advanced radiofrequency (RF) microneedling device that combines ultra-fine needles with pulsed and continuous wave radiofrequency energy to target the deeper layers of the skin and scalp. It is designed to stimulate collagen production, improve tissue healing, reduce abnormal blood vessels and inflammation, and promote skin and scalp rejuvenation with minimal downtime.
What to expect during treatment
No special preparation is required before your Sylfirm X treatment, and numbing cream is typically not needed. We do recommend scheduling your treatment at least one week before or after colouring your hair to minimize scalp irritation.
During the procedure, you may feel mild warmth and a light prickling sensation as the device delivers radiofrequency energy into the skin /scalp. Following treatment, some temporary redness or sensitivity may occur, but most patients can return to their normal activities immediately with little to no downtime.
What to expect after treatment
Sylfirm X requires minimal downtime, and most patients can return to their normal daily activities immediately after treatment. You may experience mild redness, tenderness, or sensitivity to the treated area for 24–48 hours, but these effects are typically temporary and resolve quickly.
We recommend avoiding vigorous exercise, excessive heat exposure (such as saunas or hot tubs), and hair colouring for approximately one week following treatment. Our physician will review any specific aftercare instructions and discuss the recommended treatment plan to help you achieve optimal results.
